about marlee
Marlee grew up as a competitive cheerleader traveling the country for years. She fell in love with performing and collaboration. After many years of watching her coaches in “Bring It On” the movies and on Broadway, she felt inspired and drawn to work in theater, film, and television.
Marlee graduated from UCLA in Spring 2023 with degrees in Musical Theater, Film/Television/Media (Directing+Producing), and Visual/ Performing Arts Education (Social-Emotional Learning).
During her time at UCLA she continued to seek out work and learning opportunities outside of the academic environment. She became a multi-hyphenate artist and hopes to continue wearing multiple hats throughout her career. She founded the all female production company WProjectProductions to amplify female identifying voices. She now hopes to inspire young girls to take on the world in a way she never thought she was capable of as a kid.
